The Vancouver Canadians Baseball Club hopes you and your family have a wonderful New Year and thank you for your continued support of Canadians Baseball.
In 2008, the C’s made great strides both on and off of the field. In the spring of ’08 the Canadians unveiled a trio of branding elements that many felt gave us a new identity. A new logo, uniform and mascot gave fans both young and old a fresh, new look to be proud of. We have been overwhelmed by the instant connection that our mascot Bob Brown Bear has had within our community and are certain that friendship will last for years to come.
Our play on the field finished with a bang winning five of our final six games in 2008. Players like Jeremy Barfield, Jason Christian, Dustin Coleman and Dusty Napoleon gave Manager Rick Magnante and all of our great fans much to cheer about. We look forward to the upcoming 2009 MLB First-Year Player Draft and seeing a whole new, fresh group of players ready to represent our city in just a few months time.
The Canadians also work tirelessly to help out in our community this year. From appearances at local schools to helping out at our Food Banks and hospitals, Bob Brown Bear and the C’s left many families and children with smiles on their faces and hope for a brighter day. Our first goal is to ensure that you are proud of who and what we are. We are very thankful that you have continued to welcome us into your community and have supported the Vancouver Canadians organization from top to bottom.
We look forward to a wonderful 2009, with a season just weeks away. We as an organization have raised the bar once more to ensure that every time you walk through our stadium gates, you have a memorable time full of fun, laughter and hopefully a Canadians victory!
Have a super and safe New Year’s, and we look forward to speaking with you whenever you have a moment!
